Behavioural Consultations

Behaviour consultancy is available at the clinic if you are experiencing more serious behavioural problems with your companion animal.
Alternatively, in-home services are also available for any behaviour problems your pet may be experiencing.
Our Behavioural Consultations are aimed at providing expert assistance for dogs with behavioural issues. This may include issues such as:
• Barking
• Destructive behaviour
• Fearful, anxious behaviour
• Inappropriate house soiling
• Resource Guarding
• Reactivity (e.g. to other dog or people)
• Excessive energy or unruly, boisterous behaviour

We also can provide referral to specialist Veterinary Behaviourists when required, such as cases of serious aggression problems.

Consultations are generally two hours, and include:
• Summary Report
• Training / Behaviour Modification Plan and Management Plan
• Email / phone support
• Follow up review

• Puppy Pre-School
• Individual Behavioural Training – in home

For some, group training classes may not be an option. We can provide behavioural advice and training in your home. Together, we will put together your own Training Plan focusing on your specific goals and requirements. Our approach is to teach you teach your dog using positive reinforcement methods.

We work with all breeds of dogs.

We only use humane, reward-based methods of training - gentle, positive methods, no harsh or abusive techniques or equipment, such as corrections, choke chains or shock collars.
